Barely-acceptable value, if on sale.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this Bella toaster to replace another Bella whose elements had failed to the point of being totally worthless. The adjustable setting heating timing and lift mechanisms in both have been totally reliable. Unfortunately, the innards of all such economy toasters, branded with different names, seem to be near-identical (likely manufactured by the same few wholesale Alibaba suppliers in China). The problem is the varying thickness of their element wires, which, due to the laws of electrical physics, results in varying resistance in different parts of the strands - hence, random glowing hot spots and barely-lit cold spots - with the inevitable result: both toasted and lightly-warmed spots in your toast. If that is your preference, by all means, buy this piece of drek - but if evenly-toasted breads matter to you, seek elsewhere, although likely at a greater price. SOMEONE out there must make a well-functioning toaster. Just not Bella.

Multi functional decoration

The color is a good match for our kitchen which has black stainless steel appliances and dark cabinets so I bought it. Someone has told me that if I place bread in it and depress the lever it will produce toast but I haven't tried that yet. It may come in handy one day but I wouldn't want to get it dirty.
