Valuable small appliance.

What I don’t like is the toast doesn’t pop up and if I want to stop toasting early, it will not allow the knob to pop up manually to get the toast out. The only way I have found use a manual method is to push the tab that sets the darkness of toast all the way to the left. I have never had a toaster do this before. We are living with it but it is disappointing.
