Insignia has still not refunded my total on recall waiting on $15 more dollars. This one is ok but Insignia has left a bad taste in my mouth since it is a Best Buy brand.

I like that I can make healthier meals, like French Fries without the deep fryer and the extra oil that goes with it. The controls are easy to understand. Time and Temperature, that’s it. Two (2) LED indicators that the unit is ON and the element is heating. A little fan noise as it works. Nothing terrible. The basket is supper easy to clean. Another nice feature, the unit shuts off when the basket is removed. Crispy fries, and other foods without the extra oily fats.

This little 2 qt air fryer was a good choice for me. I don’t have much counter space but it fit perfectly in a small spot that I had. It’s nice looking and works great. So easy to use and cooks my food so fast. Why did I wait so long to purchase? Recommend highly!

Good solid air fryer for the money. Bought on sale for $19.99. Heats quickly and cooks evenly. I have a 9 quart air fryer, but it's much heavier, so easier to use this when I don't have as much to cook. Easy to clean with the silicone coating but not as easy as my 9 quqrt Insignia as everything pretty much just wipes off. Not crazy about the analog dials as the timer doesn't go back to 0 when it's turned off unless it's forced back, so I guess you just leave it til it's set for the next meal. A great buy for the sale price.

    Nice counter-top convection oven

First.... it's not a "fryer". It's more related to a counter top "toaster oven". Functionally, it's a small "convection oven." I believe this distinction has been made by many other owners of "Air Fryers". So.. as a convection oven, it works very well. I baked pork roast that took a lot less time than I expected. I've baked chicken wings, and reheated pizza. The basket capacity is a good size for two adults. My only complaint is with the mechanical timer. One can not manually turn it backwards, reset, or turn it off. Once you set it, you have to wait for it to time itself off.

This is the second product I own from the brand. It’s an egg shaped gadget that is a decent size- any bigger and I would hate it. The basket is easy to clean and holds enough to feed my teenage boy. Hehe. It’s as loud as a microwave when cooking. Now this one is slightly budget so you can’t adjust the timer much. I’m still guessing the cook time- recipe books are for suckers hehe- so I twist the knob to 12 minutes and may need less time but you can’t turn it off. At least I didn’t see a way. No worries. I pull out the basket until the timer goes off and done. This baby makes awesome fries and onion rings and OMG mozzarella sticks! I re-heated a burger patty and it was similar to using the microwave. There was a slight gas smell the first time I used it. It went away by the next use. No more soggy fries!! Excellent product!

Simple interface, 2 knobs only. It simply works as expected, great value price deal. Super easy to clean after, warms up fast. It had plastic smell at first, but after I washed the bin and passed some time after unpacking it, it seems ok, no more factory smell :)

Most used item in our kitchen!

We love this air fryer in the house and in the travel trailer. We use this air fryer at least 5 times or more a week. We've done french fries, chicken, fried fish, wontons, shrimp, bacon, potstickers, chimichangas, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers and more. I never thought I'd say this but, I really do like french fries from the air fryer better than the deep fryer. Not only do they taste better but, the cleanup is simple. Gone are the days of waiting for oil to cool down to strain it and store it. It's very easy to use. I pretty much leave it on 400 degrees for everything I make. Mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers are great but, there is a small window around 60-90 seconds where they go from being done to being overdone with the cheese oozed all out leaving you with empty shells. If you're on the fence, buy it. I waited years before getting one thinking it would become more kitchen clutter and now it's the most used item in our kitchen!

This is the first air fryer I have had. It was one sale at a great price (deal of the day). So I thought I would try one. It’s a very basic machine, no bells or whistles but it works great. Once I’m use to cooking with it I’ll probably up grade eventually. However for now it’s great. -makes great buffalo wings!

Awesome for my family, easy operating, easy cleaning and overall it does not occupies a large space in my counter so it is available for the grandkids to use. My 8 & 11 yr old grandkids are the "rulers of the fryer", they are always finding new recipes to just use the fryer and it has help my grandson with his weight loss, since he now has healthier fries! Best investment so far and it paid itself by the 1st few days. Highly recommended if you have kids that like to cook!

My first one and I sure got lucky - I love this air fryer! I'd been hesitant for years and didn't need one since I don't cook much. My father gave me some fried yuca made in his and that made me search. Bella was on sale, I'm hooked! Baking meat, roasting veggies, toasting bread & tortillas, to reheating fries was never this easy and fun. Glad I didn't get smaller, I like the black & silver round lil R2 unit look, having a tray vs a basket, and most of all how well it works and cooks!

Got as a gift. It was my first air fryer and I love it! The only issue I had was after using it a lot for a year or so, the basket wouldn’t set right all the time and it would turn off. Had to put something under the handle to help it lift up so it would stay on. I didn’t need all the digital bells and whistles so this was perfect. And great size for 2 people. I’ve even made delicious steaks in it(although you really don’t get a sear on them).

I ended up buying a 2nd one because the timer knob broke, possibly by using it too often? I would recommend for anyone that needs a simple air fryer and only has 1-2 individuals at home
