    Bought on sale, and followed all directions as indicated. Washed basket and then dried. Inserted basket and let it run a full 20 minutes at 400° ... buring plastic smell was prevalent the entire time. Waited 2 hours and then ran it again for 20 minutes. The plastic smell is still there. Waited another 2 hours and ran it again. The smell became even stronger. The manufacturer cut corners on the newer version of this unit. Avoid at all costs.
