Customers are saying

Customers admire the 4.2-qt. Manual Air Fryer's ease of use, size, and price. Many appreciate its performance and capacity for cooking, although some find the manual temperature control and lack of a digital timer less convenient. A few users noted a slight initial odor, but overall, the positive feedback on ease of use and size outweighs the negative comments. The design is also frequently praised.

    Great, Basic Air Fryer

The Bella Pro Manual Air Fryer is a great, no-nonsense air fryer. It would be really great for anyone looking for a simple, familiar way to get into air frying. If you're looking for a lot of features or fanciness, this isn't the air fryer for you. There's a timer and a temperature control, and that's it. The timer isn't even digital, it's mechanical, like an egg timer, complete with the classic "ding!" The fryer itself feels nice and well-made. The basket is easy enough to pull in and out. As far as performance, this fryer does really well. I tested it with a variety of foods, from frozen pre-packaged food to homemade chicken parmesan. I was very happy with all results. The food gets nice and crispy without having to use a ton of oil or turn on your whole oven. The more I have used air fryers, the less and less I use my oven. These are just so much more convenient. And this particular air fryer is a great option. There isn't a whole lot to confuse you or mess up. You just set your temperature and turn the timer. Even if you don't know exactly how long to cook something, you just pop the basket out every few minutes and take a peek. It really couldn't be any more simple. I think every household should have an air fryer, and this is one of the most universally accessible units I have had the pleasure to try.

I love air fryers. They cook so well. This air fryer does just that. The design is simple and sleek. I like the color and it looks great on my countertop. The temperature control is so so simple and so is the timer. I like that but I do feel that it could be a bit better quality cause it feels cheaply made when adjusting but that's not a deal breaker. The notification lights on the front also work well and do what they are intended to do. One thing I have noticed is that this air fryer cannot fit the amount of food it states and cook it well. I have had to do smaller portions but for me, that is ok. The removeable grate is neat and simple to put in and take out. The handle works well and is solid. Now onto cooking. I have cooked three different things in this thing to test it out and I am happy with the results. First, I cooked some bone in wings that I marinated overnight. I cooked them at four hundred degrees for ten minutes. They turned out crispy and juicy. The taste was great. Second, I cooked a salmon fillet and man, this thing excelled with that. It was perfect. Flaky and tender and the flavor was great. Last, I cooked some loaded nachos. They cooked well and were delicious. All in all, this is a great product.

    Great Multi Purpose Cooker

Needed to update an air fryer that I have had for several years. This device proves to be an excellent fryer as well as a multi purpose device. First, it runs quiet and is easy to operate. It fits well on the counter and is easy to clean in the dish washer. From a design standpoint, it is solid. As far as options, this device will allow you to air fry, broil, bake, reheat, and roast. It does all very well. Using it as a simple air fryer provides crisp fries, fried chicken, and great tasting vegetables. It works as well as any other fryer. I then baked apple cobbler and it cooked to perfection. It didnt overcook or burn and made it much easier than in the oven. From there I roasted beef roast with vegetables. It was much quicker than an oven and cooked everything very well. The roast was moist and the vegetables were tender. Finally I reheated some burgers. Burgers dont reheat well but this device did a very nice job without drying them out. I did not get a chance to broil anything. Overall this is an excellent choice when looking for a multi use device. I would highly recommend it.

Nice simple machine for small familes

This is the perfect air fryer for smaller families and tight spaced. I had a small 2 qt fryer that was fine but was really only meant for one person, and the larger ones take up too much space. This machine holds just enough for 3 or 4 servings without being a counter hog. It is extremely simple to operate with just two dials. There are no bells and whistles like with more expe sive machines, but what it does, it does well. It pre heats in just a few minutes and cooks frozen foods like french fries, cheese sticks, and pizza rolls in less than half the time it would take in the oven. I have also used this for roasted vegetables, toasted bagels, canned biscuits, and even link sausages. It has been a life saver in the summer months when the last thing i want to do is heat up my house by turning on the oven. Heating is consistent and even. As long as you remember to give the basket a shake and spritz starches like potatoes and breaded items with oil, everything cooks beautifully. I'm very impressed with this air fryer.

Bella puts out some great small kitchen appliances and this airfryer is no exception! Matte black looks nice and sleek on the counter! It's simple to use right out of the box- just remove the protective plastics and it's pretty self explanatory how to use it. Temperature dial on the top, timer dial on the front. The basket is sturdy and has a removable plate that allows air to circulate under the food you're cooking. There aren't any digital readouts on this airfryer- its all easy to see and use dials which is actually nice because some of them are too intricate and have unnecessary modes and settings in my opinion. I typically pre-heat my airfryer for a couple minutes before I put my food in. This airfryer makes food as crispy as oil frying but obviously much healthier! I usually cook at a temp of 375-400. I love making french fries and chicken nuggets in the airfryer- quick and easy and comes out delicious! You name it, you can probably find a recipe on the internet on how to cook anything in an airfryer now.

This is a very good air fryer. One of the things that I like about this air fryer is the matte covering. I noticed it is very easy to clean and it doesn’t get lots of fingerprints on it like the traditional stainless steel. I notice when you get finished cooking in it, it is not as hot to handle and clean like some fryers are. Now for the cooking experience. This air fryer is good if you only have a little bit of food to cook. It is small and does not take up a lot of a space which is good when you have limited a space and not a lot of room to put a lot of things. I like the ease of the manual dial. It is not so tech savvy that it is difficult to use, you just turn the dial for the temperature and it is ready to go. It doesn’t have a lot of settings which makes it good. It comes with a recipe book to show you how long you need to cook things just in case you have never cooked in one before. This is good for that person that is just starting out with an air fryer like myself. I recommend this to anyone who is looking to purchase one. It’s not very heavy, very light actually.

The Sensio Bella Pro 4.2 QT Air Fryer is not the most complicated piece of equipment in my kitchen. Far from it, actually. This trim and straightforward piece of gear has exactly one dial, one knob, and one handle. It's simple, but it gets the job done. I've prepared a number of frozen foods using the Bella Pro, and found them all to come out quite good. Mini Asian bites like breaded seaweed wraps and egg rolls come out crispy and cooked through, provided you just use a single layer in the bottom of the unit, and a whole small bag of Alexia French fries fits into the basket and cooks very well with a little oil and a couple pauses to stir. Operation of the unit is accomplished through the aforementioned dial and knob. The dial sits atop the unit and controls the temperature, from 175 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The knob is on the front of the fryer, and is a simple time control that winds up like a kitchen egg timer and ticks down like one, too. The 4.2-qt basket is attached via a robust handle in front and contains a non-stick tray to promote air circulation around whatever you're cooking. The tray has rubber feet at each of its four corners so it can sit inside the basket without rattling and bumping, and comes out easily for washing. One note of caution: I found the small handle of the tray (which is an extension of the metal of the tray itself) to have some sharp edges. I'm sure they'll dull with time and use, but I definitely fell like I have to be careful grabbing it for now. The Bella Pro comes with a very helpful little manual, with instructions on using the device, a helpful page with cook times for common products, and several recipes as well. I'll definitely be referring to this handy little booklet long into the future. If you're looking for a no-frills appliance to do some simple air frying, the Bella Pro is an excellent, well-built, economical choice.

Fantastic air fryer. I got this when it was on sale and thought that I wasn't losing much if it didn't work, but it works amazing! I was able to make crispy, delicious chicken wings and other dishes super easily. I'd say it's big enough for two people. I highly recommend buying if you're looking for an air fryer.

The air fryer you need without the fat

I got my first air fryer in the earliest part of the pandemic, a step-up model with a digital screen and various cooking modes. Like we've all found with so many other gadgets, those extra features are nice to have but they aren't strictly needed for what I use my air fryer for. The Bella Pro 4.2 qt Manual air fryer is exactly what I need 95% of the time. There are only two controls - the dial for the temperature and the minute timer. Each of these feels well made - even though this is a budget friendly model, it doesn't feel cheap or low end. I've taken the opportunity to cook a few air fry staples in the 'feature rich' digital air fryer I have had for a few years vs this Bella Pro 4.2 qt manual model, and things seem to cook exactly the same in the same amount of time, so full marks there. Cleaning is a little different for this model vs my older one - the air fry tray is not as secure inside the basket so you can't really turn the basket upside down without the tray coming out. However, the non-stick material of the tray itself (or perhaps the flatness of the surface) has made this one even easier to keep clean. A quick spray with my Powerwash foaming sprayer and a scrub with a soft brush and it's ready to use again. If you want an air fryer for all the things air fryers are great at - chicken nuggets, mozzerella sticks, hot dogs, fish fillets - you will not be disappointed at all with this manual Bella Pro model.

So air fryers at this point are a dime a dozen, and it seems like people are constantly finding new ways to use them, new things to cook in them, more uses for them because they are so easy to use. Enter the Bella Pro Series 4.2qt air fryer. Now, this one, unlike many others, is fairly basic, with an analog dial as opposed to any digital display, but honestly the ease of use is nice. It has a dial at the top for temp and a dial on the front for time, it really doesn't need anything else. What I've tried... Well, I'm sure some of you have seen the TikTok hard boiled eggs done in an air fryer... tried that and it worked great. I've made cookies in it, I've fried chicken in it, many things that call for regular frying or even just regular cooking I just toss in here first because it's so easy. I really don't have any complaints. No fancy settings or displays or anything, it 'just works', and there's a lot to be said about that. This is an easy recommendation, no issues, no muss, no fuss.

Sometimes, instead of all the 6 in 1 appliances, you want something simple, yet effective. That's how I would describe the Bella Pro Series Analog Air Fryer. No muss, no fuss, just an easy to understand, easy to use air fryer. Setting it is simple, pick your temperature by using the dial on top then set your timer for how long you want to fry, then let it do it's thing. It's great for letting older kids use it without worrying if they'll accidently put on the dehydrator or the roaster instead of the fryer. The 4.2 quart has a good size basket and I had no problems making enough hot dogs and fries for my 4 grandchildren in very little time, which is good when you've got young ones who are insisting they are starving and will die in the next 5 minutes if they don't eat! I was impressed with the quality of the finished product. I've done hot dogs in an air fryer before but didn't really care for them. These tasted as if they came straight off the grill. The fries came out crispy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside. With early success, I went on to try frying chicken and fish and had the same excellent results. Overall, I'm very happy with the product and would not hesitate to recommend it.

If you are looking into a healthier diet, air frying is the way to go. Not only is it supposed to be healthier, but it is so much more convenient and easy. With that being said, I decided to give the BELLA Pro 4.2 QT Air Fryer a try. Boy am I happy that I did it too. It is so much easier prepping my meals with this air fryer. I just season whatever I'm cooking, put it in the air fryer, set the timer, and let the BELLA Pro 4.2 QT Air Fryer do its thing. The results are great. I was worried about meats and poultry going dry, but that was definitely not the case. I get a little crunch on the outside and juicy, tender meat on the inside. It really is that simple! I still have some more experimenting to do with other foods and this air fryer, but I am really excited to try so many new recipes. As for cleaning, I was worried about food getting stuck all over the tray, but that was not the case. With a non-stick coating, it makes it a breeze to clean the air fryer up. Sometimes, I do let the tray sit in water just to avoid having to scrape too much and scratching the air fryer. Overall, I am very happy with the BELLA Pro 4.2 QT Air Fryer!

I've tried and owned a number of appliances that have an air frying function but non have really matched the results that this Bella Pro Analog Air Fryer offers. All the air fryers I have tried do a decent job of cooking the food but they almost all fall short on that crispy outside you're generally looking for when 'frying' food. That's where the Bella Pro excels in my experience. I tried cooking quite a few crispy foods and was blown away with how crunchy they all turned out without overcooking or drying out. A few favorites were chicken tenders, seasoned curly fries and especially corn dogs! The kids really like the extra crunch from the corn dogs and the Bella is simple enough that I let them use the fryer themselves to make after school snacks. The basket is a decent size and holds enough food for what I would call just over two servings. The only controls are a temperature dial on the top of the unit and timer knob on the front. Sometimes is nice to have an item that really only does one thing, but it does so simply, efficiently and it turns out great results.

Since this product looks like Darth Vader's helmet, I will start this review with - Impressive, Most Impressive! I was looking for a product that was simple to use without a large amount of digital items I did not want or need, was cost effective, and produced results of frying that I wanted. This product fit the bill perfectly and honestly, I am not sure why anyone would want or need a more expensive product in this arena. I have tested this item with regular french fries, potato wedges, hot dogs, sweet potato fries and my very favorite thus far – eggplant wedges. All the cooked items were crispy and exactly as a fryer product should be. I found that heating up the fryer for a couple minutes first produced better results and I also found that cooking at about 380 degrees was ideal. The dial is easy to read and this is a no-nonsense product that simply performs perfectly. Cleaning was super easy thanks to the nonstick coating which did not need a large amount of scrubbing. I highly recommend this product!
