Easy to use and good value for money. Only downside is analog timer which if you set a longer duration, you cannot cancel and need to run the timer out with empty basket

I have made fresh French fries and enjoyed them. They took a lot less time than the booklet estimated. It is thankfully much quieter than I expected and easy to clean. I was confused by the rubber feet on the basket insert, but they are not just packing material and in fact stay on the metal feet of said insert. Hint, don’t try making rutabaga fries, it did not work for me.

Dad's a fan of his new fryer!

He calls me every day to talk about what he cooked in it. He loves the ease of use, how quickly foods are cooked. He loves frying chicken without flour now! He's even learned how to bake a cake! Kinda jealous bc I haven't had time to do that just yet. Maybe over the holidays.
