I'd give it 5 stars, but the writing surrounding the time and temp knobs smudged off making it hard to set an exact time/temp - it's a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, it's great.

The only thing I would point out is the first one I got was a faulty unit. We plugged it in, put some chicken wings inside and everything but when we turned the timer, the light would turn on but the light that shows the air fryer is heating, would not turn on, even after several minutes. If you have this air fryer, and when you turn the timer, the "Heating" light does not turn on, return it. The way it works is: the "Heating" light is only supposed to turn off, when the air fryer is hot! So, if you turn the timer and the "Heating" light does NOT turn on, that means the air fryer is not getting hot and it won't matter if you leave it for several minutes or not.

Air Fryer for College Student

So far so good - this thing is getting used every day and works perfectly! With only two dials (temp and time) it’s very easy to use and I’ve been told the non stick surface is easy to clean.

It does a great job for both breakfast and lunch foods. I found round parchment liners for the basket making clean up easier. The nonstick interior is very nice.

There's a lot of different meals you can cook in this that I never knew about. It's opened up a whole new realm of cooking for me.

Easy to clean, the insert on the bottom pops out, quick to wash off after use. Flat black, makes the overall unit easy to keep clean of fingerprints and particles. We love pulling food out of the freezer and using the air fryer, fast to heat up than th oven.
