I don't know because body is made with plastic if you didn't put the basket back into unit when It is still warm it doesn't close all the way. I am assuming top of Fryer is warped. I had to warm up unit a little bit to push basket back in place. It does the job.

Works Well, But Use It Carefully.

The numbers appear to have been painted on, and by using the dials and wiping the fryer down after each use, the numbers just wore off. I followed the manufacturer's instructions and sent an email to the support desk, along with photos, BUT I DID NOT HEAR BACK FROM THEM. After waiting three more days I returned it to Best Buy for a refund.

The first one worked great for 6 months then smelled like burnt plastic and would not turn on any more. The second one by far has no issues and works just as great. I hope it dies not stop working or catch on fire.

Defective Door - Returned Product

I liked cooking with it, but the drawer started to have trouble closing and even popped open when it was cooking. Ease of use and cooking ability seemed right on, but safety was an issue.
