    This air fryer has a persistent plastic odor when using. I’ve run it through 7 fifteen-minute heating cycles and still can’t get rid of the smell, and I won’t cook any food in it when it smells like that. The smell permeates my whole house. I missed the return window by a month because I was too busy to try the fryer. So I’m not a happy consumer right now. I would not recommend this item. It is inexpensive, sure, but unusable unless you want your food to smell like plastic.
