Each time they promised a lot but gave little until this unit from best buy. It well built, toasts evenly and fast while having the widest slots we have seen. Also compared to others the controls are clearly visible. A very good deal on a very good toaster.

Really disappointed!

And it is all three things, but it does not toast accurately, so that makes it worthless to me. I cannot trust it. We like our bread and bagels moderately toasted. In order to get that level, we constantly have to move the slider selector from 0 to a little more than one. We never know what we will get from no toast to almost burnt toast. I've resorted to using the cancel button repeatedly during a cycle to check it. I can't imagine what the higher settings would do!

I’ve only ever had cheap two slot toasters in the past. Having a 4 slot toaster with two separate heating zones and controls is amazing to me. Excellent value and I’m never going back to two slots!
