Do not purchase is coffeemaker or any product from Bella! Warranty is a sham! Customer Service is a sham! So far, 34 emails and 4 phone calls! 3 months!!! Please read on….
Bought this coffemaker in January, started using it 2 weeks later and could not manage to pour the coffee from the carafe without it spilling down the side of the cup and onto the counter top. Emailed the company on February 9. They wanted photo of sales receipt, serial number and a video of the problem! I sent the pictures of receipt and serial number but had no idea how to do a video which I explained to them several times. They kept asking for it again and again. In the meantime, the on/off button got stuck in the unit and a piece broke off. So I sent them an email with that issue. I was told to send a picture of that problem. Done. In turn, I was asked to cut the cord and send a picture of that because “we need to ensure to disable the unit to validate the warranty”. That was the end of March. (emails back and forth, cc and including those to and from the parent company, Sensio. I won’t list them all here.)
On May 7, a friend of mine was able to make the video they kept asking for which I sent that day. May 8th I received an email with this astounding reply included: “Please note that If you have the type of glass carafe that has an attached lid, then the lid is part of the problem. A solution is to slightly lift the lid when you are pouring - this prevents the coffee from spilling off the edges of the lid and running down in unintended places. If you don't like the carafe you should return the unit. This is how the carafe is designed.” Whaaat?! No mention of the broken on/off button or the cut cord! Return the unit to whom??? With a cut cord??? That was my question in my last email to them on May 14th. So far, no response except their standard auto-reply!

Another case of "you get what you pay for"... I used this coffee maker just a few times before deciding it was not going to cut it. The coffee maker is very loud, so I quickly found I couldn't use it early in the morning while family members will still sleeping. Beyond that, it is just a very plastic, cheap machine and compared to my previous coffee maker, the coffee just didn't taste good. I ended up buying a replacement coffee pot for my existing machine (it had shattered and was initially out of stock) and it's so much better.

They will not honor there warranty. Company literally wont return emails or when you call they give you false information so you cant obtain warranty service. Product is cheap please dont buy this you will throw it away in the end.
