Was looking for a smaller coffee pot to go along side my Nespresso machine. This fits the bill and makes a decent cup of coffee. I do wish it had auto shutoff.

This has been the best $20 coffee machine I've ever owned in my life. I use it daily.

Looks good, makes good coffee and easy to clean. Just keep in mind it does not auto shutoff, so not great for forgetful people.

The BLACK+DECKER 5-Cup Coffeemaker, Black, DCM600B was ordered to replace a similar Black & Decker 5 cup coffee maker I have. The previous coffee maker carafe was dropped & broke, and I decided to buy this one. The major difference is that the older coffee maker did not a hot plate built-in, and thus could not keep coffee hot after it had been brewed. This is just a basic hot-plate coffee maker that holds 5 cups (6 oz each) of coffee. We have owned various coffee makers over the years from large 12 cup makers, percolators, Keurig, and other types dependent on the year and type we wanted. This can be said up-front, without any bias whatsoever,....this Black & Decker coffee maker produces better-tasting coffee than any of the other types we have used. Obviously, the type of coffee used can make a difference, but overall we use this make as our everyday coffee maker. It makes 3 cups (6 oz each) of my wife's regular coffee quickly, and then it makes my 5 cups of decaf. The coffee pot is small, light, and easy to wash. We use unbleached coffee filters, but smaller wire mesh filters are good too. Both are acceptable. Another asset to this coffee maker is that it can be used in a travel situation without taking up too much weight or space. If there is a negative to this coffee maker, then it might be the materials used in the product. The plastic in the coffee maker is much thinner than in the previous Black and Decker. This is just an observation and not necessarily something that reduces the quality of the product. The other positive about this product is that it is inexpensive at about $26.00. BOTTOM LINE: I would buy this product again without hesitation. We don't need a large, bulky, coffee maker for our morning coffee, and this Black & Decker definitely fits our needs. We have been down the road with the much pricier, 1 cup insert makers, the pressurized coffee makers, and others,...and this coffee maker is what we need.

I’ve had this coffee pot now for approximately 3 months. This product is an excellent coffee maker! It provides about 2 mugs of coffee. Perfect for the couple who want one mug or the single who loves two cups of coffee every morning. I haven’t had any problems with it at all. One great feature for this coffee maker is that it does not take up a lot of counter space. I would highly recommend this coffee maker to anyone who enjoys two cups of joe.

Great size perfect for afternoon coffee break at the office. The included filter works great and the best was finding this as a Deal of the Day special.

It does the job. 5 cups in about 10 minutes. It has a simple on/off switch. No frills, no programming no clock but makes coffee jus fine. Good value.
