I bought this for my daughter she uses it all the time.. she's a teen so she even uses it as her microwave sometimes.. the only issue I have ran into is make sure you clean under it regularly I made parental mistake of thinking my child was moving things around and cleaning when doin dishes.. big mistake.. when I moved to clean countertop there was a black smoky film that had accumulated..it came off with a light scrub.. my fryer still going strong

I've had this air fryer for last 8 months. I've read a lot of negative reviews, especially about the resting pan becoming sticky, losing the nonstick surface. I clean mine after each use by soaking with warm soapy water. I scrub using SOFT scrub pad ot plastic brush. I oil the food with sprayer. Warning: PAM-like products cobtain lecithin, which causes nonstick to not work. I purchaaed a cheap spray bottle , filled it with vegetable oil and use it to oil the food. To this date the nonstick surface is intact. Do not use harsh scrubbing powders, metal scrub pads! Take care of it and it will take care of you.
