But if you're looking for food that tastes as good air-fried as opposed to traditional deep-frying, forget it. It's never going to happen. You can't have it both ways. Most things cook well in the air fryer (we like wings and fries), but they're never the same as when they're prepared traditionally. I don't think it's the brand or the model; I just think it's the nature of the method of cooking. But, a good machine, IMO.

Fresh cut fries was a no go. Heard frozen fries are better to do. Boneless chicken breast was amazing!! Will never do them in the oven or skillet again if I can help it. (Won’t beat the grill however IMO.) The “beep” is annoyingly loud. There’s no reason to be ear piercing. It does give off a plastic stink smell but I’m assuming because it’s still brand new. I do have to look at the manual to make sure I pick the correct preset picture.

Now I am trying to figure out what took me so long to purchase an air fryer except I didn’t believe them...fry without grease, and crunchy...no way, WELL yes way. This thing does everything you heard it would do. And clean up is so dang easy. I have made chicken, turkey wings, bacon. This weekend I have plans to cook salmon. Yummmm. I am cooking for one but I didn’t want the smaller ones I like this size.

One of The Best Purchases I Have Ever Made!

It is a trial and error to figure out temps and times because I seldom use any breading and most of the suggested "recipes" in the book that came with the fryer call for some type of breading. I have not looked online for any other recipes for this brand of air fryer.
