Sleek, compact single-serve coffee maker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bella Pro Series Capsule Coffee Maker and Milk Frother are the perfect size for single-serve coffee. The coffee maker is slim and easily fits beneath kitchen cabinets. Its detachable water tank is easy to fill and sits snugly at the back of the machine. Key parts of the coffee maker are metal—the lever where the Nespresso capsule is inserted, and the drip tray grate. The frother, also designed for single-serve, is cordless and sits on a powered base. I brewed a variety of coffee flavors/strengths to test the machine. I used the frother for espressos, and also to make beautiful foam for a roasted cacao beverage made in a French Press coffee pot. Pros: - Sleek, small footprint - Coffee maker offers choice single or double “shot” servings - Compatible with Nespresso coffee capsules - Capsules eject into a waste tray that holds up to ten capsules - Milk frother can be used to make heated or unseated, stirred or frothed milk—two attachments - The frother works well with whole, low-fat, or skim milk. - A variety of Nespresso capsules are available in stores or online. Cons: - Coffee is not hot enough. It is barely a good drinking temperature when it comes out of the machine, and it is too cold to drink within minutes. - Machine is designed for the original Nespresso—or Nespresso-compatible—single-serve coffee capsules. These do not make large enough servings for typical American cups of coffee (5 ounces). - A variety of Nespresso capsules are available, though a much larger variety of the more popular K-cup single-serve portions are available. - The milk frother overflowed the first two times I used it. Only later did I see the “max” level markings inside the pitcher. If you like to drink small cups of espresso immediately, then this Bell Pro Series coffee maker is for you. If you like the option to make larger, hotter, portions—or drink them more slowly—then I recommend you consider a different machine.

Easy to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was concerned with a milk frother how easy it would be to use and also how safe as I don’t like getting sick with bacteria etc etc. well if anyone else is like me this thing is so basic and easy and also very safe. When you do use milk (recommended 2%%) it comes out great and so creamy. Then you run it a couple of seconds without milk to evaporate any left over product... The coffee/cappuccino is so easy to use so I won’t go into that. Taste? Excellent Cleaning? Very easy Using pods? Doesn’t work with my Nestle pods (they are not K pods) but that’s because the Nescafé dolce gusto cups are double insulated and not designed to work with it anyway. Still had to try and got hot water out of it lol. Overall a great product that does what it is designed and very well.

Not as advertised
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let’s be very clear up front. This is NOT a typical k-cup/pod coffee maker. Nor does it even use most common coffee pods. What this machine is, is basically a pod espresso maker, and can only use Williamson-Sonoma coffee pods. Now that this bug disclaimer is out of the way, functionally this is a good machine. Out of the box, it took little for me to setup. You put some of the pieces together, take off the stickers, run it once with water to clean it, all in all, very simple to setup. With packaging and out of the box, don’t expect any fancy packaging. This is very by the books which is fine. As I setup, the few things that stuck out was 1. As I was running water through, it had me select the “large” dispense amount and I noticed a very small amount of water came out. 2. Anything larger than the run of the mill, average coffee mug won’t fit here 3. The pods I bought at the store wouldn’t fit. After thinning through the instructions it has a single line, buried in everything else that mentions that this machine can only use Williamson-Sonoma pods. Ok... no where else in the instructions, on the machine, or box is that mentioned. Fast forward a week until my pod shipment from WS shows up... I got my smallest mug in there, brewed a double size serving and again noticed only about three oz came out. Turns out this isn’t just serving a basic cup of coffee, but espressos. Thus, then giving me abetted understanding why anything bigger than a small mug wouldn’t fit. The coffee quality and flavor itself was good. The machine also comes with a milk frother, which is fantastic. It has settings to keep the milk cool or warm it, or froth it or not, so there’s plenty of different ways to top off your coffee, or use the frother fit other projects all together. In closing... I feel like this product is wildly not accurate to it’s advertised name or description. If you’re an espresso fan and have a Williamson-Sonoma nearby, this is great, besides that, I’d probably look elsewhere if you’re looking for a k-cup style coffee maker.

Compact, Easy to Use, Household friendly
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bella Pro Series Capsule Coffee maker is much more compact than the box would have you believe. I'm putting this up-front because if you're in Best Buy and see the box you might go WOW it's huge, but it's actually a very compact capsule coffee maker. The box looks big because it's very well padded with shipping foam and also comes with a bonus milk frother. This is the first time I have owned a capsule coffee maker, typically only ever using them in a hotel. Things I love about this coffee maker is that the water chamber is big (about 22oz) and it's easy to fill and clean. Even though it's got a large water chamber, large enough to make coffee for you and your partner, it heats up the water quickly - under a minute in my tests. I'm still finding my perfect pod choice for this, but can't fault it and it looks great on the counter. The milk frother that comes with it was an unexpected bonus. It's actually a separate cordless pot. I'm still getting to grips with frothing milk and to be honest, don't feel the need to do it - but it's a nice distraction and something to learn while I'm stuck at home. TLDR. Super happy. Love the large water capacity, which means I can quickly make a capsule coffee in the morning for myself and my partner without fuss. Easy to use. Milk frother is a nice bonus. And the unit is more compact than the box would have you believe.

Easy to use and clean and the frother works great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The system was pretty much ready to go out of the box. The instructions were brief but covered what you need. the frothing took awhile for me to get right, but within an hour of receiving the maker and frother, I and unpacked, cleaned and was making 'fancy' cups of coffee. Clean up is simple, you will want to keep an eye on the capsule storage to make sure you are emptying it regularly. The small profile of both components made it for easy storage. NOTE: the instructions I received indicated that the unit was designed for a specific brand of capsule, but I had no problem using a few different compatible capsules with a very common design.

Affordable Expresso Machine with Frother
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been wanting an expresso machine like this one for a very long time, quick and easy to make delicious cups in a very short time. An added plus is that the frother comes with it! No more running down batteries running the hand kind, fast and simple. I was lucky enough to grab this one on clearance just adding to the joy!

NICE, COMPACT ESPRESSO MAKER
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The BELLA Capsule Coffee Maker and Milk Frother is a nice little unit. Compact enough to take on trips so you'll have fresh espresso within a couple of minutes! The unit appears to be well made. Easy to operate. Just fill the water container, pop in your "capsule" (...NOT a K-cup, but the smaller "capsules" that are on the market...), press the button and get your espresso! Makes 2 sizes of coffee, but both are really small ... just 1 1/2 oz and 3 oz .. but I think the 3 oz is really closer to only 2 oz. To get a descent sized cup, I had to brew twice - with different capsules - so that I could enjoy a "cup". Probably my only complaint about the "coffee" is that it is not hot enough. The FROTHER is amazing. Uses maybe 1oz of milk (... I use whole milk...) and froths nearly a cup size. Really makes a difference in the "now latte" you're drinking. Love it! I look forward to taking the small machine on the road when we travel. I'll have to try the frother with dry milk to see if it is as enjoyable. Great little unit ... Bella finally has a winning product if the quality is as good as it currently seems.

Coffee lover
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The coffee maker get a 2 athe frother a zero. I got this on sale and apparently didn't read carefully about the size of the coffee it makes per single pod. 3.5oz for coffee, 1.5oz for espresso. So for a cup of coffee you need to run it twice and use 2 pods. The frother attachment doesn't spin unless you manually move the spinner to get it going. I contacted Bella pro and was told that i had to return to the store nothing they could do. Disappointing all around
