I bought it to use boiling the water to use for tea. When you add to water something for tea immediately f k ash the water our side of the cup and inside rusting.it is useless. I don't recommend to buy this item

Kettle Leaking From the Bottom Into Base

Matcha, green, oolong, chamomile, peppermint to name a few. As I've discovered the various varieties of tea, I also discovered that they also are best with different water temps, not just the classic "boiling water." So this kettle was amazing allowing you to select the tea type to ensure you have the correct water temp for an optimal tea experience. Unfortunately, after less than a year of use, the kettle has started leaking from the bottom onto the base. And this has started occurring while the kettle is in use heating up the water which seems dangerous. Electricity and water are not a good combination so I'll have to find another one soon.

not safe for drinking water

I put the water in the kettle . After two days, I noticed a "fog" raise inside the kettle around that small metal pin. I cannot drink any water after this happened.

Impressive product
