Damaged
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my Waring Belgian waffle maker for 9 years but a piece recently broke on it while I was cleaning it. Although it still works I decided it was time to buy a new one since I've been wanting one that makes 2 waffles at once. The Waring double belgian waffle maker is around $100 and I didn't want to spend that much so I decided to give this one a try. I purchased this waffle maker to make waffles for our family breakfast on Christmas and was very optimistic upon unboxing it. However when I went to wipe it down before using it for the 1st time on Chistmas morning, I noticed the coating on one side was scraped up and coming off. I decided to box it right back up and will be returning it as I don't think the quality is that great if the coating is peeling off before it's even been used. I will just spend the extra money for the Waring double waffle maker since it has been reliable for 9 years and no damage to the coating on the plates at all.
