    Select the amount of coffee cups you want to make sounds like a good idea. Is a non-sense in real life, when most of the coffe makers if you want 6 cups you add 6 cups of water or so. I think that there are other features that they may turn this product into something more functional. For the price is just fine.

    Be aware.. the instructions arent extremely clear on the paper about which attachments should be in use for single cup of coffee. So far no complaints.

    The coffee lip latch opener is made of plastic which can melt if it gets too hot from the hot water or brew basket filled with hot grounds left after brewing your coffee. Which can affect your ability to open the lid. Should be made of something else besides plastic.

    To use the single serve pod it's a process where you have to change out parts. I was thinking it'd work like the Kerig that does pods & a full pot. That's what I ended up buying even though it was a little more $174.99. This was put to good use as a gift for my aunt when her coffee maker broke.
