I bought this for my 19 year old son, who has used mine constantly while living at home. He moves out pretty soon, so it is time to get him a few kitchen items. This was first on his list.

I was looking for a fun kitchen gadget for my daughter. She has been making dishes off and on for a few years now but I want to keep her from getting bored. When she gets her own place it will be nice to make sure she has her own kitchen stuff to take with her that she likes using. She loves quesadillas so getting a quesadilla maker seemed like a no brainer. The unit arrived just fine but there were some scratches on the plate. Even though there was a thin paper sheet in between the top and bottom plates they showed some wear on the ridges. Luckily it didn’t effect how it worked. We gave it a quick wipe down and plugged it in to preheat. Took about five minutes and the indicator light showed it was ready for the first quesadilla. We did a spray of avocado oil and started with a basic bean and cheddar cheese. We kept it a thin layer of beans and cheese so the lid would close and lock. Both sides heated nicely and the tortillas toasted just right after about four minutes. Melted cheese. Check. Warm refried beans. Check. Easy to remove from the griddle. Check. Pre sectioned marks for easy tearing. Check. Easy to clean. Check. The quesadilla maker made a quick and easy dinner for four and everyone got to personalize their quesadilla.

It was broken when received, lid was separated from non stack plate and I opened box after month so was not able to return.

Took 2 weeks to get to the store for me to pick up then it is missing the drip tray. I called trying to get it and they were no help at all.

If I could give a zero I would. It was broken in pieces when I received it. I tried to do an online return but was not able to find an option for it
