In previous years I’ve had at one time a bellroy wallet, and other designer wallets but haven’t one for an iPhone case. I have taken a look and picked up this Bellroy case for my iPhone 15 pro max. It has a soft suede like microfiber surface inside of the case and the Bellroy bird logo embossed near the bottom, whereas on the outside is of the eco tanned leather and of course you have that new leather smell along with it, and embossed Bellroy word at the bottom middle. iPhone is suited perfectly inside and the buttons pressed with ease and the cutouts are precise for your charger and the speaker/ microphone. The MagSafe battery pack I have works perfect so no issues with using any type of MagSafe charging or any MagSafe type of mounting system at all. The magnetic force appears strong enough. The case feels fine in hand and slides in and out easy from pockets. They are backed by a 3 year warranty so there should no issues if a defect occurs during that period but save your proof of purchase of course.

I will admit - I am *EXTREMELY* picky when it comes to cases and screen protectors for all my devices. An iPhone can be upwards of $1,500+ so it's very important to me to always have the best coverage possible, without unnecessary and heavy bulkiness. The Bellroy iPhone 15 Pro Max Leather case (in black) is a very basic, high-quality leather case. The case fits perfectly on my iPhone and all the buttons match up. It has a very high-quality feel to the texturized leather and provides excellent grip. It feels high quality and nice to hold. My only reason for knocking it down one star to four is the lip around the edge of the front. It feels like it barely has 1/2mm of lip down to the screen. In my opinion, that's not quite enough I feels risky. I certainly don't want bulk, but I like to have a pretty good gap between the lip of the case and the iPhone screen itself and this case just doesn't quite make it (see photos). Otherwise, I would consider this a worthy contender - especially at this price point - for a good quality, basic leather case.

I’ve owned a couple Bellroy cases for various phones in the past and I’ve always been happy with their quality and how they’ve held up. This case is no different and I love the feel and look of it on my iPhone. It’s not too stiff and it’s easy to get the phone in and out of it. The inner surface is a soft microfiber material. The outer layer of the case isn’t completely leather and there are plastic bumpers on the top, bottom and upper edge around the screen. It’s a mostly smooth transition between the materials, though I do notice a little discomfort where my pinky rests at the bottom of the phone as it naturally rests on one of the seams. The buttons feel good and are easy to press and have a subtle click sound. I would say the buttons are a little too easy to press and I trigger Siri by accident more often on this than I did on my older (but much bulkier) plastic case. This is more of a style case, but it seems very durable and protects the phone in all the most important places while still looking and feeling good. Since it’s leather that material will wear and change over time, but based on my experiences with past Bellroy products they have aged very gracefully. It also comes with a 3-year warranty, so that is also nice peace of mind. The case is also MagSafe compatible and I had no issues using this with my MagSafe charger. Overall I’m very happy with those case for my iPhone and I’d recommend this to anybody looking for a leather case now that Apple doesn’t offer them anymore.

On one hand, this is great because it slides in and out of my pocket effortlessly. As a Bellroy customer of the past as well the support is known to be responsive, so I have no worries there either. I am a bit particular about the cases I use on my phone. As a matter of fact, I normally opt to not use a case. I have enjoyed using leather cases in the past and was a bit disappointed when Apple decided to move away from the ones they were offering. I have heard from multiple sources that Bellroy made some really quality products, so I was excited when I came across this case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Let just get this part out of the way; this is one of the best cases I have ever used, and I have been using iPhones since the iPhone 3G. The leather feels durable and smooth, everything is well crafted, and buttons are easy to use. It’s a relatively slim case, this is not going to add a lot of bulk or weight to your phone. That being said, I still think it would do a good job protecting the phone from accidents. The case is made up of 2 main components. The back of the case is the eco-tanned leather. All around the sides of the case, except the back is made of a polymer bumper. This combined with the metal buttons, and microfiber interior make the phone feel well protected, and nice to use. This has easily and quickly become my favorite case to use on my iPhone. It feels well crafted, nice in the hand, and it offers a good amount of protection. All of this, plus the fact that the MagSafe feature remains strong and keeps all my MagSafe accessories working perfectly. This is a premium case that I would recommend to anyone.

I'm big on touchpoints, especially when it comes to items that I interact with dozens of times per day. This is why I am incredibly particular about my phone cases. Unfortunately, the Bellboy leather case went back in the box almost as fast as I took it out and put it on my phone. I think the case looks great, and the leather is nice, but I can't get over the feel. The case is 85% leather, but the protective polymer bumpers that surround the case are raised above the leather. This doesn't seem like a big deal, but when you hold it in your hand, these raised edges dig into your fingers. It's immediately noticeable and not something I would enjoy every time I use my phone. This case simply isn't for me. Everything else about this case is great. I like that it was MagSafe compatible, the soft microfiber lining reminded me of the cases that Apple used to produce, and I'm sure the eco-tanned leather will break in wonderfully. Unfortunately, this is not a case that I plan on using as my daily driver.

I have mentioned it before, our devices need to be protected with a good case and even more so when we pay a high price for them. This Bellroy case for iPhone 15 pro max made of leather fulfills this purpose, however there's a couple of things that can be better. In the box comes the case and nothing else, the packaging is simple although less cardboard would not be bad at all. The case is made of leather and other materials, this is noticeable to the touch. The case has a good design, it fits without problem with the phone and the side buttons can be used without problem. The bottom of the case has enough space to connect the charger and for the speakers without any problems. The back of the case has a magnet to charge the phone via magsafe, it works well. In general the case fulfills its purpose, although something that is true is that the corners of the phone that are normally impacted when the phone is dropped, do not feel so reinforced, it does not seem that in a fall the case will protect the phone. Added to this the fact that the material that covers the case is leather, makes it feel slippery and this can cause it to slip out of your hands and fall, something that would not be a problem in itself if the case completely protected the phone, but it is not the case. In short, the case is fine up to a point but lacks good protection and ease of use. If you have an ample budget and want a leather case that works with magsafe this case is for you. If not, I feel that for that price there are other options on the market that can offer more and better features.

The case is leather. Smell for yourself. Reviews say otherwise because there is plastic on top, bottom of case, which i believe is good. Reason is, those areas are most prone to damage if device is dropped. Case feels,smells good. The pro max no longer feels huge and bulky like other cases made it feel. Case easily goes in and out of shirt/pant pockets. One more thing i love is speakers cut outs arent deep, like other cases which in return tend to trap tons of debris, which this case does not. Take a look at your current case and youll see what im referring too. Also, doesnt add noticeable weight to device, huge plus.

The Bellroy Leather Phone case line up of premium phone cases are well crafted, the model I have is made for use with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I would consider this a slimline case which does not add much to the profile of my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The exterior of the case is covered leather with the top and bottom of the case having an integrated plastic covering, it is blended so well into the design that I did not notice the plastic at first. Just for clarity, this is not a two-piece case with a shell and an outer covering, it is all molded together. The leather at first (at least in black) seems unlike leather I would typically expect to see, however a quick sniff reveals that it is actually what it says it is “premium hides tanned under gold-rated Leather Working Group environmental protocols”. The interior of the case features a woven fabric that ensures the glass backing of the phone remains protected while scratch free. The case is MagSafe compatible, and you can see the outline of the embedded ring in the case which provides safe mounting and effective wireless charging capabilities. I had no issues with this case keeping my device securely mounted and every wireless charger worked without issue with this case. While the case is streamlined it seems to effectively protect my device during inadvertent drops. All the cutouts for volume, screen lock and the action button align perfectly with the appropriate level of “clickness” of the buttons. The leather material is a bit slick, but slightly less so than plastic cases I have used. I also expect the case to gain some “character” as it wears, potentially increasing the grippiness (if that is a word). The cutout for the camera section have just enough of a raised edge to protect the lenses of my iPhone when placed flat on a surface. Although the cutout frame seems less pronounced than other cases I have used, not sure if that is good or bad. The case slips in and out of my pocket with ease and does not get caught up as silicone-based cases often do. Also, when pulling my phone out of my pocket the case feels secure with little to no flexing, that is a good indicator of the construction and longevity of the case. Overall this case was mid. Leather doesn’t really break in or fade as you would expect. Leather is also prone to chucks coming off. Also. All of the buttons have curved/bent inward from use. That being said, it has done the job of protecting the phone so can’t complain too much.

I missed the leather cases from apple on the iphome 15, so when I upgraded, I was looking for something similar. Thankful that I did.

I went to the store to refund an item and the store rep did an exchange for the SAME EXACT product. So of course i return to the store and ask the store manager “Mordecai”….. He sat there and tried to tell me that i exchanged it for the same product. Asked him to pull up cameras and he refused. Sat there and wasted my time to go over the same conversation over and over. Mordecai refused to let me speak to his supervisor, refused to provide me information to help with my issue. Sat there and treated me like im not a customer. I will NEVER shop here again. The staff here is TERRIBLE! Cant even get ahold of a regional manager to discuss my problem. Best Buy, your store managers should be there to help the people who spend money there and treat us all like we spend money there.
