Purchased this a year and a half ago. From the beginning, it would not turn on when plugged into a wall outlet. For some strange reason, it would turn on when plugged into a surge protector. I ended up keeping it instead of dealing with the hassle of returning it, which was a BIG mistake. I moved to a new office a few weeks ago. Now, it won't even turn on when plugged into the surge protector, much less the wall outlet. I spent $300 on this thing that has never worked properly from the beginning. I understand that I probably should've just dealt with the return hassle when I bought it. When I called Best Buy, they said they couldn't help me and told me to talk to Insignia. I called Insignia, and the guy told me that since it had been out of warranty for a few months, there was nothing they could do. He told me to get online and look for a local appliance repair person, but to pay for it myself. Insignia's customer service is a joke. This is not the first product I've purchased from them. I should've learned my lesson when my previous product failed after less than 2 years. NEVER AGAIN!

Item was picked up at store with small dent in the upper corner of box. I thought no big deal since there must be enough packaging material to protect item. Wrong! There's no styrofoam to protect the top and corners (just the bottom and two pieces for the side). Very frustrating to have carried it upstairs, only to find that the left corner and door were badly dented. I plugged it anyway to see how it performs. It was loud! I thought it would go away after the refrigerator got to operating temperature, but left plugged in for two days and each time the refrigerator ran, I could hear it downstairs as if a large air compressor was running. Not sure if the loudness is due to damage to internal components, but do not want to take a chance with another one, so now looking for an alternative.

I bought this cooler to go under my bar and I bought it because they Advertise 33 degrees. Mine never got below 43. So I took it back and exchanged it for another hoping for colder temp's. The 2nd one is doing the same exact temp....43. I'm super frustrated. Do not buy this product unless you are from Europe and like warm Beer!

Can't get to 33 degrees as advertised. Temperatures range from 36 to 44. Mostly in the 40's. So, at best cool beer. Definitely not Cold beer. Bought 3 days ago will probably return and try another. If it doesn't maintain temps any better than this one I will return for refund. Sad....

We are returning this cooler. It is advertised to reach 33 degrees, but like other reviews, only reach around 40 for us.
