NEVER EVER BUY A PHYSICAL BEST BUY CARD ONLINE! !! I bought a Best Buy gift card from Best Buy online for my son’s birthday. It shipped from a warehouse in California and showed up and was never activated. I went to the store and they gave me a number to call. I called the number and they said they were out of stock (how is Best Buy out of stock of Best Buy gift cards?) but the guy on the phone said to go back to the store and call back and they would tell the store it was ok to exchange it. Complete lie. The store cannot exchange or do anything to help customers with gift cards. So with the store managers help I called again and talked to someone new who said the card would be activated in 3 business days. Was it? Nope. Waited over 2 weeks and still no resolution. I have to wast more of my time to call back and talk to some guy who’s training is just to answer calls and read from a script. I have been a total rewards member for many years and I’m so beyond done with Best Buy and the awful online customer service! Never again Best Buy. Closing my account immediately.

I really didn't know what to get my teen son, because I have no idea what he wants now, but he does and it was a hit because I didn't know he needed headphones.

I got this as part of a promotion but it makes a great gift for anyone. The paper that it comes attached to is foldable and has "To:" and "From:" spaces for writing. This gift card is actually shaped a little differently than most but that shouldn't be a problem.

What else can you say about a BBY giftcard for the techie in your life? It's really the perfect present for people who have to have the latest tech especially since they price match competitors both local and online on in stock items.

I purchased a $500 physical gift card online on November 25th. Before I received it on November 28th, the card was used and it had a $0 balance. When I called to check the balance, I was informed that a purchase was made on the 26th. Best Buy's Customer Care has been horrible! I've called into the help desk 6 times and was told the last 3 times that a new gift card was on its way. It's been over a week since the last time I was told that and still no gift card. I think they tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone.

You know I got to hand it to Best Buy. They were in the giving mode this season and knew how to produce. I acquired this with an Xbox bundle with Battlefield 1, a wireless controller and a 500 gig hard drive. I mean What's not to lose.

What can be said about this gift card except that it did the job and was worth the money it was supposed to.
