Crappy merchandise with a nearly nonexistent warranty from a 2nd rate discounter (they used to be better)!!!

As for now, it works and it did not break in the first week. I believe that an honest review should put the cord's durability to test, but I have not owned it long enough to comment. It is bad practice for Best Buy to ask for reviews on products so soon after purchasing.
