Function over Form, but a great 2 in 1 charger

TLDR: For Android/Samsung users tired of the limited and expensive charging options that are available to us, this $20 wireless charger is a solid solution. It's universally compatible, works with both iPhone and Samsung watch chargers, and even surprisingly supports MagSafe, all while using your existing cables. ---------------------------------------------- Something that many Android users likely do not consider when choosing their device, is the accessories and charging ecosystem that surrounds it. This is something that someone who owns an iPhone almost certainly does not have to think about, you can't go anywhere without stumbling across a product with the "Made for iPhone' label. This is not the case for Android devices, and especially Samsung devices. Samsung is consistently behind the curve on charging accessories for their devices, and when they do release a product, it is almost certainly at a price point that many will find unreasonable. I daily drive the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra and a Galaxy S22 Ultra, and I've long been searching for a simple charger that would allow me to quickly and easily charge both of these devices at the same time. Those of you familiar with the Apple ecosystem will know that companies like Belkin, Anker, UGreen, etc, all make their own solutions that allow for easy charging of an iPhone, Watch, and AirPods all at a reasonable price. The current solution from Samsung is $150. This cheap and simple charger has solved the issue for me, even though it certainly prioritizes function over form. One of the nicest things about this little $20 kit is that it is truly device agnostic. Any wireless charging enabled device can use the main charging spot, including earbuds. Included is also watch charger mounts for iPhone or Samsung. One of the things that I appreciate is that it relies on the charger that you already have, which is no doubt both a cost saving measure, but serves a benefit of not contributing further to the growing pile or box of cords that we all no doubt have. My watch charger slots nicely in, and I was able to get the cord for it neatly stowed away in the base of it. There is an internal USB A port that the watch charger plugs into, and a USB C to USB A adapter is also included, since Samsung Watch chargers terminate in USB C. Every consideration was made in the design, and I really appreciate it. The case for my S22 Ultra is the dbrand Ghost Case 2.0, which has MagSafe functionality and something that is not mentioned for this product is that it supports MagSafe. If you have a MagSafe case, it will auto align using the magnets which is a very nice feature and I was pleasantly surprised to see that included.

I got this little portable charging device because it was fairly priced and thought it would be nice to have a smaller charging station. It kind of works as described however, when I put my phone on the charger, it doesn’t like to charge and only stays charging for like a minute or two. Now my watch charger is just fine.

It's a good item that I will use for travel. It's a smart idea the way they've done it. When I read reviews, people said it originally included the charging piece for the watch. If it did, that would've made it amazing. Don't know if people were wrong in the reviews, or if indeed, they stopped including it. Nice touch including the 2 adapters for Samsung and iPhone watches Took a minute to put together properly, but now I know, it's so easy. Will take it for travel as I have a more secure/solid charging pad at home that does my watch and phone at the same time.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on the Best Buy essentials™ 2-in-1 15W Wireless Charger Kit! We're glad to hear it's a great fit for your travel needs and that you found the design smart and practical.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the watch charger piece. You're right—some earlier reviews may have referenced a different version or bundle, and we understand how that could be a bit confusing. We're happy to hear the included adapters for both Samsung and iPhone watches added value for you.

Thanks also for pointing out the initial setup experience. It’s great to know that once assembled, it became a breeze to use. We hope it continues to serve you well on your travels!

This charging pad is a little disappointing but it does wirelessly charge my phone. Using a 45W Insignia (Best Buy's generic brand) dual-port charger, the best I've seen this wireless charger do is 6.1W (reported by the AccuBattery app on a Samsung Galaxy S24 FE). It performes about the same weither or not I am charging my Samsung watch at the same time as I charge my phone. The same 45W Insignia charger routinely charges my phone at 20W-to-22W via a wired conection. The phone is advertised to charge at up to 15W wirelessly or 25W via a wired connection so this charging pad falls short. However, since my routine is to put the phone and watch on the charging pad first thing in the AM and take them off an hour or two so later, the charging pad serves its purpose.

I like both a phone and smart watch can charged at the same time. However, it doesn't charge as quickly as my stand alone chargers. I'm not going to complain too much as the $10 reward from Best Buy and receiving 2 of them for $5 a piece was a great deal.

I was initially very excited at the prospect of using this charger kit for my iPhone and Apple Watch. Here’s the thing… it didn’t work for my phone, for whatever reason. It changed my watch just fine, but only worked with my phone the first night using it and then refused to work. Now, I do have a MagSafe charger pop socket on the case for my phone I was using the charger on and the first night it seemed to work without any issues but by my second time using it the following day it stopped working. I’ve had this MagSafe pop socket on my phone case for a while now and have used it with no issue with my MagSafe puck charger nor my car’s dash mount charger. After I started noticing the charger was charging my phone I did try taking my phone out of its case and charging it that way and it seemed to work fine. But the issue with charging my phone that way defeats the whole purpose of the MagSafe Pop socket I have on my case if I have to take my phone out everytime I want to charge it. I did contact customer support about my issue but did not receive a response quick enough so I returned the item. I got the charger kit on clearance for about $10, so while it’s disappointing it didn’t work for me, it really isn’t a huge loss. Because, again, it was $10.

I bought this on sale around 15 bucks. Fortunately it had everything in it, as stated. The usb adapter was already plugged in the bottom, so it might look as if it's not there. But you will need to buy or already have a high velocity wall/outlet charger and possibly an additional usb adapter for that charger. Those don't come with the product. It charges my SSung watch fairly quickly. If you push the magnet for charging the watch all the way in the port, the watch should automatically grip it. But you have to make sure the magnet is pushed level or somewhat flush with the holder and plastic circumference for the SSwatches. My phone is SSung, but it's old, A50, and not compatible for any charging port that I'm aware of. So I purchased a wireless charging receiver from Amazon, for 9 or 10 dollars. All you do is plug that right into the phone and then it says it can work on any phone charging station. Just put your phone face up on the charging station, with the wireless charging receiver, plugged into the phone, on its back. It's charging on it right now with my watch. It says it will take about 1 hour and 20 minutes at 59% to charge my phone to 100%, I can live with that. My wall charger is a Samsung fast charging wall outlet, that came with the phone. But I'm careful because my wall charger tends to get warm. But I'm quite happy with my charging kit. I was charging my watch daily with the phone, then having to charge my phone and then my tablet too, at times. It takes forever that way. Draining one, to charge the other. So it's great for the price I paid, and it sits out of the way with only one exposed chord to the SSung wall unit. I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews. It also did not like it when I used a different input cable from their's. So know that too, maybe my cable was not quick enough? You'll know because the little light towards the bottom will be blinking fast, meaning error. Solid light means thumbs up!

I really like the idea of this product, but the Qi charger for the phone works half the time. I set my phone on it then go to sleep, but most mornings my phone is more dead than it was when i placed my phone on it. It always shows charging when i put it on there. Sometimes I'll noticed the white light on the front of the base blinking, and when it does that, the phone is not charging. I have a speed charger feeding it, so I don't know what the issue is. The watch charger works as it should at least. One design recommendation i would make is having the base at an angle instead of flat, but that's just a personal preference of mine.

Works just as intended, albeit a bit hot for my liking. Hot batteries don’t last as long as cool ones, so…choose accordingly is my advice.
