Looks and works amazing. Considered some alternatives such as Apple contracted belkin or others but this looks and performs as well as any.

these look great in my home office and are awesome for video chat.

This stand was placed on my desk since the day it was purchased in July. It was great, my phone or AirPods never overheated and the phone magnet was sturdy. Then all of a sudden today it busted. It didn’t even feel hot enough to the touch to do it.

Broke after two months of regular use. I guess the magnet is too strong that when you take off your phone it slowly is breaking. After 2 months of use, back piece broke off. Being a Best buy product reached out multiple times seeing if they can replace it since maybe it could be a defective product but was completely unsatisfied with the customer service. Talked to online agent who gave an email which I emailed twice (2nd one following up) and it has been over a month with no response (other than auto response they are looking into my email).

This is the 2nd charging stand I’ve had. First one cracked and now this one is doing the same.

Worked great until the plastic busted into a bunch pieces. Cheap build quality so now after trying and failing to super glue it, it’s going in the trash

I like so many things about this charger! The design is sleek and blends in with the rest of my office set up (not pictured). The matte white is pretty and the stainless steel accent is nice. Its footprint is small enough to fit any where; bedside, office, kitchen, etc. Its a 7.5W charger which is perfect for me. Fast chargers always make my phone run hot and I'm not the biggest fan of that. I prefer slower charging, it makes my battery last longer from my experience. Plus, I usually charge my phone over night so I'm never in a position where I'm in dire need of a fast charger. Another thing I really enjoy about this charger is that while it's perfect for all my apple products, I can charge android stuff on it as well! The bottom pad that's meant for airpods, can charge my Pixel 7 and galaxy buds too! Such a space saver and very convenient. The magnet is really strong as well! If you have a magsafe case for your iPhone this will have no problem holding on. If you're like me, however, and just have a non-magsafe case, it will still be pretty good. Luckily, my case is thin enough. It stays on and charges with no issue. Overall I would say this is a really good product. Just be sure it is what you're looking for and fits your needs.

I can’t charge my AirPods 3. I tried any ways and doesn’t work.

This Best Buy Essentials 2-in-1 Magsafe and Airpods charger is a perfect night stand charger, and a near perfect desk charger. A dock/stand like this is extremely practical if you are setting your phone and Airpods down for long periods to charge, such as at night before bed, or keeping it on your desk while working. One drawback that I find with it compared to Apple’s Magsafe pad is that the phone has to remain docked for charging. With Apple’s original Magsafe pad, you slap the puck on the back of your phone, and you can continue using your phone undocked like you would back in the day with the old lighting cables we’re all familiar with, the only restriction being the length of the cable. To test out the unit, I’ve been using it at work, and there are times I need to pull my phone off the charging stand to respond to a message or look something up. Those times are when I feel that the original Magsafe pad is more useful vs. repeatedly docking and undocking for charging. It’s a minor drawback, and to some it may not be a drawback at all considering the point of a dock is to... well, dock your phone and let it sit. Overall, the build quality on this unit is surprisingly nice. It feels nearly like an Apple made product. The white plastic base and Magsafe pad, and the steel docking pole give this charger a very clean Apple-esque aesthetic. The base is nicely weighted, and there’s rubber on the bottom that prevents the unit from slipping around. The hinge and swivel for the phone dock are extremely smooth; I’ve used them to dock my phone in landscape mode which is perfect for watching videos at my desk. As for specs, this is not the fastest charger, coming at 7.5 watts for iPhones, though that is faster than the 5 watt charging bricks that used to come with iPhones. The Airpods wireless charging pad on the base of the unit is fine at 5 watts; the batteries in Airpods are smaller and don’t take much time to fully charge in general. It took my Airpods 3 case from dead to full charge in about an hour, give or take. I really like the unit, the build quality, and the 2-in-1 charging. But docks in general have their use case. If you find yourself picking up your phone every 5 minutes, it’s going to take you a while to charge your phone with this thing. But as a nightstand dock for nightly charging, or for those who are less distracted by their phones throughout the day, this thing is fantastic.

This charger cracked less than two months from purchase. I did not drop or yank on it and it is no longer functional.

I was excited to receive this item in hopes I’d be able to charge my phone and AirPods simultaneously. That wasn’t exactly the case. I was unaware I would need a certain phone or case to use this so my iPhone X wouldn’t even stick. My daughters iPhone SE wouldn’t stick either. My coworkers 13 stuck and so did a 12. It charges at a normal rate, not super fast if you’re looking for a quick pick me up. My AirPods charged just fine. What made me nervous however was when I took them off the charger they were warm. That never happens when I plug them in and charge normally. I will say I like the design and appearance of the charger also. It’s sleek and clean looking. I didn’t mind that it has a normal plug as that’s what I was planning to use anyway. But just so you’re aware that is the only charging option, no usb/c or converter situation. My coworker likes this item a lot. She turns the phone sideways and uses it as a stand to watch her shows at her desk. She says it’s perfect for that as you can watch at a nice height and angle all while charging your phone and AirPods. I would said this is a decent item to own and depending on your needs and wants it could be a 5 star item for you!

I bought two. I’ve had them less than a month and they have both cracked.

This Best Buy essentials wireless charger is really good quality but with some limitations. It feels well made and steady. It feels heavy enough to be able to handle an iphone which has gotten quite weighty. There is a slight rubery grip on the bottom so it doesn’t slide around. The shiny metal stand with the white plastic makes it sleek and clean. It is a 7.5W charger so it definitely isn’t a fast iphone cable charger (which can be up to 20W) nor a magsafe certified charger (which can be up to 15W). It is fine if you are just going to leave your phone on your desk for an extended amount of time and not trying to just top it off in minutes before rushing out of the house. Although this charger is a 2- in one and is listed as for two devices, what they really mean is that you can charge one magsafe phone and a pair of airpods. I was hoping I could use both platforms to charge my phone. I don’t always want my phone to be standing up on the platform or sometimes I don’t have a magsafe case on my phone. Unfortunately, the large lens bump on the back of the iphone 14 pro doesn’t allow for the phone to sit flush enough on the pad to charge. An iphone 11 can be used on the flat bottom platform but it is difficult to find the right spot. I think this is something important to note especially if you were hoping to be able to use both platforms. Make sure your phone has a magsafe case or you won’t be able to use the stand to charge your phone. The phone can be placed horizontal or vertical, which is useful to be able to switch it according to your needs as you use different apps. My iphone 14 pro with an Apple magsafe silicone case attaches perfectly to the stand. The grip is quite strong and didn’t fall when I shook it to test it out (important in Earthquake areas). You do have to use one hand to hold down the stand when removing the phone because the entire stand lifts up with the phone otherwise. I like that the top platform is high enough that I can use it as a stand and then stick a cable charger into the phone, which is useful if I need faster charging or extended charging. I wish that the charging port wasn’t a barrel connector so that the A/C adapter could be used with other products or so I could use my existing usb-c and usb-a cords/bricks. I like to be able to swap out chargers and devices without having to unplugging and replugging from the outlets (outlet space is always limited and sparse when you have tons of tech products). It would also be more environmentally conscious and space saving if I could reuse pre-existing charging accessories. This brick and wire is going to be trash once the charger has aged out. Overall, this is a decent wireless charger but it is important to be aware of its limitations to fully understand if it is the right charger for you. You need to make sure you have a magsafe phone case and you want to charge your phone in an upright position. Taking those into account, this is nice looking and feels substantial in quality.

I didn't anticipate liking this as much as I did. It honestly doesn't look like much from the photos, but in person it is a different story. It has a very nice feel and build. I like the stainless steel looking piece and the soft plastic pieces both on the bottom and the piece that holds the iPhone on top. The magnet is very strong and supports the iPhone very well. The bottom even charges my Pixel 7 Pro aka my work phone! This comes in very handy at night when I don't need it for my AirPods. What I didn't quite like was the AirPod groove wasn't deep enough so sometimes I had to hunt to get it to charge. Like if I didn't have it in the exact spot sometimes I'd miss it and in dim lighting right before bed it's hard to get it perfect when you're falling asleep. Another bummer is the fact it's using a proprietary charger port. I wish it was USB-C instead of a barrel charger. This makes moving it from room to room kind of a chore. Other than those gripes I'm pretty happy with it overall. So much so I plan on buying another one for my garage. This will be handy to have when I'm working out and not really needing my phone and a nice place to just store my AirPods after a workout for easy finding later. I hope to find a 3-in-1 version that supports the Apple Watch in the future.

Works well/seems to charge quickly and looks nice on my nightstand with iPhone in standby mode. Magnet is strong and holds phone securely. I only needed the capability of charging iPhone and AirPods and didn't want the larger footprint of models that also have the spot for watch charging.

When I first came across this magnetic wireless charger, I had to assume the quality wasn't to Apple's first-party accessory level. Maybe it was because it was Best Buy's in-house brand, but mostly, it was because of the price difference between an Apple product. Boy, was I wrong. This thing could have an Apple logo, and you'd never question it. The quality is very well-built. Everything is top-notch, from the heft of the charger to the rubber material on the bottom to keep it from sliding or even the magnetic power it has. My wife has an iPhone 13 Pro, which attached right to it (without her case). Even my Pixel 7 Pro with a Magsafe case charged well. On top of that, it can charge wireless buds, too, on the base of the charger. You can't ask for much more. Maybe a watch charger? But this footprint, in comparison to my Samsung triple charger, is much more convenient. I'd rather have this one on my nightstand. It can also rotate to have your phone be in landscape if that's what you want. So technically, you could watch videos with it being charged. This magnetic charger is perfect for your iPhones, any Magsafe-compatible case, or phone. Again, the quality is top-notch. Don't waste money on something "name branded" when this exists. Kudos to Best Buy Essentials!

I ordered the Best Buy essentials 2-in-1 7.5/W magnetic charger in advance of deciding last minute to upgrade my iPhone from the 13 Pro Max which was a recommended model at the time. I have the latest model now and am disappointed with the actual results from this particular charger even though I know this brand is usually pretty good with the quality and features you normally receive. I noticed the magnet on my device charger was for some reason not strong enough to hold and charge my iPhone 14 Pro Max which may have been a compatibility issue since at the time of order I owned a 13 Pro Max and figured it would work out fine. Needless to say after the disappointment with the phone I decided to charge some of my AirPods on it since I have multiple models and always need to charge a pair. I can say it actually did a good job charging my wireless earphones and was glad I could use the new charger for my accessories at least. I would have given the product a higher rating if the magnet had been strong enough to hold my newer phone and charge it so if you have a iPhone 13 or prior you should be fine with this product. I may have just happened to receive a model that was not working up to par since the brand is normally really good.

Simple and nice 2 in 1 charger that works very well. Features: This device can charge up to two phones (or Phone plus other wireless charging enabled devices such AirPods) at once, one on the magnetic top holder, other at the bottom/base stand. This beautiful charger saves me from buying bunch of power cords which my kids destroy by improper unplugging on weekly base. This device allows anyone just to pick the phone without causing any issues and it definitely saves the charging ports on the phone from wear off since they are not being used. When tilted to back magnet on top seems to be strong enough to hold iPhone 12 Pro Max which are decent weight. Other fact I like about it - I don’t have to lift my phone up to check notifications or calls, I can just look straight up and it’s visible right away. Weakness If tilted towards the front in upright position magnet is not able to hold bigger phones and phone will fail off. Power: Device has output of 12,5 watts which is maximum capacity and it’s split to 7,5w (top) and 5w (bottom/base). Device looks very stylish and clean so it catches attention of anyone.
