The magnet doesn’t work for the phone but it charges with me holding it. I’m not sure if the charger part works for the earbuds. The light never came on. (Beats earbuds)

Personally I got tired of taking it on and off. The unit also comes WITHOUT the watch charger, which I somehow missed on initial purchase.
