The unit plugs into the wall and this charges the phone port and the earbuds port, but you have to use your charging cord that came with your apple watch to charge your watch. The cord is hidden in a little compartment underneath and plugs into the base, then the round part of YOUR charger fits into the circle on the base...thus...charging our watch.

This is the exact same form and function as the ones 3-4 times as expensive. With iOS 17’s new StandBy or alarm clock look, this is the perfect bedside charger for your daily Apple gear. The MagSafe charging in either portrait or landscape (needed for StandBy) you now have the perfect smart alarm clock. With MagSafe, you don’t have to fumble for a cord or try to carefully put your stuff on a charger. Make your life easier and just use this.
