I am very pleased with this purchase, as it works every time I connect my cell to Apple Car play, where the other cord, was hit and miss .

It's thicker than most, which means it's more durable, but it's not as bendable. What that means is that if it's too long, it will be in the way. Initially, I bought the 9 foot, but it was too long for the space I was using it in, and changed it out for hte 5 foot, which is more suitable for the space.

I know that some cords did not transmit information to my auto blue tooth and that was why the navigation wasn't working. The a Geek Squad rep in automotive explained it and found the right cord for us.
