We installed 3 of these in our van, and all three tend to slide out enough to disconnect from the socket. I would only recommend these for vertical sockets that can use a little gravity to help hold it in place.

It sticks out of the socket so far that the weight of the head causes it to vibrate loose and lose contact, therefore it stops charging.

Maybe its just the one I have, but it often slips out of the DC port. The springs on the side of get stuck when I insert the adapter into the port. I often have to push the adapter back in when it slips out. It kinda sucks… definitely will be purchasing a different one from a different brand.

Too loose in charging port.

It sticks out pretty far and it moves and hangs which will stop charging your device. Its a car charger and all the bumps in the road make it stop pretty quickly. Picked up another brand and it works flawlessly and barely moves. Poor design and will return.
