Durable Alternative to Apple Cables

This cable did the trick. Thicker than your typical Apple cable (supplied with phone / pad)... about 3/16". The extra diameter seems great, maybe less power loss on a longer travel.

No matter what, all these cords are subject to wear and breakdown so why pay more when you know you’ll be replacing them at the same rate

I asked for a good quality I-phone car charger with a good price. The associate suggested this item and I'm glad he did. They are great for teenagers who keep a pulse through their phones!
