Broken Promises

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t know if I received a definitive item or not because the this item received good ratings overall but I had to return it for a refund because the lightening end pulled out and I was very lucky that I pulled enough of it out that it didn’t get stuck in my phone. It broke in about 3 days after purchasing it. I do not recommend this item based on my experience.

Well, the first time I used it, it made me phone overheat. It had to pause charging to cool down. It made it hot every time it charged my phone. Now, after only having it for 6 days, it no longer works. If I still had the receipt I’d return it and buy a new one.

Stopped working one week in

Thought it would be the most basic but reliable but it ended up being a not so good charger. Would return and get a different one if I could.

It only got about 5% charge in over 20-25 minutes of charging while I could get almost 1% every 2-3 minutes with Insignia’s. If you want good charging speeds, look elsewhere.

Apple brand wasn't available, so I bought this one online. It worked well until I dropped my phone while charger cable was plugged in. It broke the metal piece off. Not well built compared to Apple version.

When I can get it to start charging, it drains the battery within a matter of seconds. For example, I plugged it in at 12% and it drained the battery to 6% within 20 seconds. Not sure what is wrong with the charger.
