Absolutely love it! Convenient. A bit sad that it doesn’t last long but it’s good to use and quality is nice.

Gave this to my mom for mother's day so when she forgets to charge, she can grab this on the way out the door. She still forgets the battery. /facepalm

It’s ok it just dies too fast and take long to charge

I bought it to go to a music festival because my phone does not hold a charge. It got it from 30% to 60% before it died so I was happy.

This wireless charger from the Best Buy essentials line has a lot of features that consumers want in a wireless charger, including 7.5W charging, USB-C, and even an integrated kickstand. Unfortunately, the product lacks some key and expected features that make for a flawed charger in a saturated market with better alternatives. First, the couple of good things – it does charge quickly, with 7.5W, and the integrated kickstand is handy. MagSafe locking is solid as long as you have a MagSafe compatible case. Many case manufacturers are claiming “MagSafe” compatibility, but don’t really have it. You need a case with the pass through metal rings to allow magnetic accessories to attach properly. Be wary of cases that just say “MagSafe charging compatible”, as many of those don’t have the rings and accessories like this charger won’t stick properly. Charging levels are as expected for a 5000mah battery pack, it can charge an iPhone 13 Pro about 60-70%, depending on temperature and if the phone is being used. On to the flaws. The biggest is that this charger does not have any kind of meaningful charge level indicator. It’s completely crazy that you have no idea what level of charge this thing has when you walk out the door with it. It could be full, or down to 25%, pressing button will still show green. When it is low, it flashes yellow, which is not actually mentioned in the manual. Literally, it doesn’t bother to tell you anywhere that if it is flashing yellow it has run out and you need to charge it. As the final fail on this product, it has a noticeable coil whine. You can hear a high pitched pulsing sound from a couple of feet away in a quiet room. I have other 7.5W MagSafe chargers, and none of them make an audible sound. This product is well intended but fundamentally flawed. Typically, Best Buy Essentials products (Insignia) are well thought out products at lower prices than name brands, but in this case, the lack of any kind of functional battery level indicator, in addition to an incomplete manual and noticeable coil whine, make this product one to avoid.

Only down side is it heats up quickly and I wish it would charge my AirPods magnetically too

The MagSafe power bank by Best Buy essentials is a good idea for competition with other similar products. One thing to note is the charge to the phone is very slow, my phone becomes hot after about 10 minutes, and the LED indicator light does not always work as expected. With the mention of the LED indicator light I would like to, say that it’s very hard to determine how much charge is in the pack because the light does not display a different amount of flashes or a different color for the percentage of the battery unless it’s low or fully charged. Traveling with this MagSafe battery pack was convenient yet irritating because of the slow charge and , the phone overheating. One thing I would like to say that is super positive is the MagSafe charging pack does securely fastened to the back of your phone. And the charging pack does not get caught on surfaces due to the rounded edges. Overall, I gave this product to stars, because personally, I would not buy this for myself after using it, and I am just looking out for fellow consumers.

When traveling this is a must have and so grateful I purchased to ensure my phone battery never died.

Love a portable charger! I don’t tend to leave home without it!

This product is trash I let it charge all night and it was only able to charge my phone from 20% to 85% and the magnet only work if you take your case off terrible device only good thing about it is I can carry it in my pocket comfortably

They need to change the description for best buy essentials .Apple no longer supports iphone 12 mini. Best buy does not indicate that you need to buy the iphone "mag safe" cover for the phone. which is no loner supported. Go to an Apple store and waste your time. The phone charger has the Best Buy product label. Way to go!

For the first 2 hours owning this device it was fine, my phone was charging pretty quick but now that the battery pack itself is dead, it wont charge. I read troubleshooting and everything to no avail, its been on my 20w charger for about 5 hours and wont even turn on to charge my phone. Waste of my money

I purchased last summer and used 2-3 times. By the end of my first trip with it, it no longer held a charge. Stay away!
