After that there was no communication between my monitor and my brand new laptop. Got a different cable and everything is working well now therefore it was the cable.

Broke in a couple months

Worked once, but then got "no signal" on monitor

Unplugged, replugged, cleaned ports out with compressed air, and replugged with no luck. It is going back to Best Buy in a few days. Now I am looking for other options to connect a monitor to an iMac Computer.

I tried to return it yesterday and was innformed too late to return it. Another item from Best buy to add to my collection of Can't return. Not very happy with return policy. Cable Didn’t Work

For some reason this cable did not allow my monitor to function. I did see this cable being used on YouTube we’re it did work for that person either. I had to get the SVGA to HDMI adapter from Bestbuy and it worked!
