Excellent connector, just the right length, easy hook up

Allowed me to use an older monitor with my newer laptop like a charm.

Father-in-law had a newer computer but an older monitor. Since he didn't want to buy a new monitor, this cable was able to make the connection between the 2 devices. Image quality was good (as good as the old monitor could produce). If you are in a similar situation, this cable should "do the trick"!

Good cable, well fitting and fairly cheap. Surely solved my connection problem.

This was great. I needed to connect a Playstation 5 to an older monitor and this did the trick. An HDMI cable doesn’t work, nor does an VGA cable because it is analog. This HDMI to DVI cable transmits digital, so it works, and I am very happy.

I recently purchased a new PC but had an old monitor that I wanted to connect to it. This product was the perfect solution for my problem and I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to connect old technology to new technology.

Thank God Best Buy had these. I am working from home again with a new job and unfortunately, I had to buy my own monitors. I had an old and and was given some and they used these old VDA (I think they're called) hook-ups. Best Buy had them in stock and saved the day.

This was the perfect solution for me. I bought a secondhand monitor that was a bit older so it only had DVI and VGA ports while my laptop only has an HDMI port. The description for this item is a little confusing but it does work for an HDMI output (from laptop) to DVI input (into monitor). Just to reiterate since I'm not sure if this cable is bidirectional, my use for this cable is to extend the display from my laptop to a monitor that has a DVI port. I hope this helps! I spent hours going down a rabbit hole of how to connect my HDMI only laptop to this monitor I got, and TLDR; HDMI->DVI is a better connection and more reliable because they are both digital signals. HDMI->VGA requires changing the digital signal into an analog one for the VGA port to process.

Got a new monitor but still had an old PC. Best Buy had the needed cable in stock and was able to get me rolling. Best Buy essentials have come a long way and typically the quality is decent for most people.

This item did just what I needed without any issues!! The HDMI to DVI adaptor cable was the perfect thing getting my wife's work computer hooked up at home with 3 monitors!!! She loves the 3 monitors!!! Worked right out of the gate!!! I'd recommend this product!!

Worked perfectly! Purchased a new Dell computer, but I already had a working older model monitor. The helpful Best Buy employee told me I needed this cable to connect my monitor to my new conputer. Worked like a charm

Well constructed HDMI to DVI-D cable that allowed me to use my new Windows 11 desktop computer with my older non-HDMI capable monitor. The 6 foot length is appropriately long for the distance between my desktop computer and monitor. Great price and in-stock at my local store.

It works Great with My New Computer. I kept My older Monitor but I needed a New Cable for the proper connection. Best Buy has a Great Selection of Items. If Best Buy does not have it , then You don't need it.

I have an old Dell monitor that had a DVI port. I am able to use this cable to connect it to my laptop’s hdmi port. It works flawlessly.
