    An excellent option when you want to hook up your second monitor and the only other port on the video card is DVI. The price was excellent also.

    Very easy to set up. Just plug in and use the monitor. I tweaked my laptop settings to extend my desktop. It's helpful to have more "real estate".

    Was able to keep three monitors out of a land full. Allows you to connect your older monitors to new laptops with only HDMI. No sound that I am aware of I am not sure if older monitors allow for the pin out.

    If you have an older monitor and a newer laptop or pc and only have an hdmi port this will work great for a monitor with dvi.
