I have always been a little skeptical of vent mount solutions, as my wife's car has one and it does not work with the iPhone MAX sized phones. They are too heavy.

They use cheap plastic and the weight of the phone broke the stem. Best Buy store refuses to exchange due to defective equipment. Told me if it breaks it’s yours..
