The vent clip is on par with other vent clip type mounts, it's not the best but it works okay. Over this mount is serviceable depending on your case size, would benefit from a stronger wireless charger.

I didn't realize that the magnetic holder isn't strong enough to support my cell with the protective cover on. Unfortunately, I do have trouble getting the protective cell phone cover on and off. I think there are Wireless Vehicle Chargers which are strong enough to work with the protective cover on.

It mounts to any vent clip and you can adjust and tighten the mount to hold the phone at the perfect angle for the driver. I love that it also charges the phone so I can use the navigation on long trips and not worry about the battery dying! Very affordable, must have accessory!

For the price, this is great value because since its magsafe, the mount is magnetic and strong and attaches to an AC vent.
