Despite the lower price point of this cable, it functions perfectly for Apple CarPlay with no connection issues. Highly recommend saving money by going with the Best Buy basics cables

Also in many different lengths. When I bought this 3' USB to USB-C cable, it was for use in my car with a new phone. The car supports induction charging but my current phone doesn't charge by that method, so I wanted a short cable to charge via the USB outlet. Short so that it doesn't get in the way of other things in the console area.
