Cable is pretty rigid and feels sturdy but not great when u need to use ur phone while its plugged in. It constantly falls off. If ur ok with just plugging in and forgetting then this might be ok given the price drop but if not i would skip. Only had it for a few weeks and it's already getting on my nerves. Apparently it frays as well so time will tell.

Rubbery, sticky cable that will most likely break down over years of usage.

If I connect it to my phone, works fine. If I connect it to someone else's phone, it disconnects repeatedly or doesn't commect at all; which is weird.

Bad experience at beaumont store.

I came into to get something very simple, a usb to usb micro cord. The salesman fromstart would not allow me to finish saying the above words-- he cut me off by saying he needs to know exactly what device Im trying to charge- this cord chargees many different items. Again he kept baraging me about what device I was trying to charge. At one time he asked me to leave the store. I tried to calm down even though I hadnt done anything wrong and did do sort of an apology. I said if you will allow me to finish , he finally said ok- as I was telling him its a universal cord and isnt device specific, another salesman walked up he heard it all, the arrogant first salesman said something to the second salesman, and the nice salesman said I know what he wants and its the sme charger for a playstation. The rude salesman says oh, like he hadnt a clue what that was. Anyways the nice salesman walked me straight over to some cell phone accessories and handed me the cord. He was very easy going and nice, not like the arrogant bully that wouldnt shut up and let me say fromt the start what I wanted. I will not ever go into this best buy again. In beaumont. With bestbuy having financial troubels, at least thye shouldnt be hiring arrogant one that doesnt know the products.

There are other connectors that snap/lock when connecting to the phone USB-C. This snapping allows it to stay secured while charging. The lack of this snapping in this particular cord connector led to problems with the connection for the charger with my phone and it not always charging.

Bought it to use for my vehicle and was never able to connect my phone via Android Auto due to the low quality of the cable. Cheap yes but useless.

Even before then had problems with it clicking into place and staying there. Constantly fell out or wasn't charging cause it wasn't fully in. Save your money and don't buy this cable.
