The problem is that it clicks snugly into one of our Chromebooks, but my Asus Chromebook has a looser fit and the cord pops out. I believe the fault is with the Asus.

10 Foot Cord Extends Car Charger to the Back Seat

I keep in plugged in all the time now so there's no fear of running out of power.

It is the usual plastic covered cable. I also like that it is a different color than my all white other cables. Light and easy to store.
