It fit into the phone but rather snuggly at first. I thought it was because it was new, but after 2 weeks of use it destroyed the receiving port in the phone. These are supposed to be a standard size, so why did it crush the interior port on my phone? Now the phone can't be charged and all the data is probably lost.

Problematic when I'm using it to connect my phone to my car and run Android Auto. I thought my phone was broken so I took it to a repair shop. They said it was fine and to try a different cable. Sure enough, the new cable was fine.
