However, it worked as an alarm for about a week. Then for the next few weeks, the radio would play for around 30 seconds then go to static. Now it doesn't play at all. The first failure was the alarm going off a minutes later than the specified time. The second even worse failure was the buzzer not sounding at all despite the alarm going off. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

The radio does not work consistently. You can set the alarms to operate by radio sound and then when they go off nothing happens, no sound at all. I have to regularly reset the time as it loses time.
