Useful if your graphics card doesn't have enough HDMI ports or if your monitors are lacking Display Port.

It allowed me to connect my 32in smart monitor to my computer, and it even transmits audio through the cable. I couldn’t be more satisfied. Do note that for the price you are only getting video in 1080p, so if you want 4k, a different adapter is needed.
