I plugged it in a few months ago, and its been in use every day on my TV Laptop. I actually need to get another one for a backup, but plug and play. I use it for my older laptop that I converted to my media box for the TV.

I needed this cable in order to plug in two monitors to my docking station. I am using this in an office setting so I can't speak for whether it works great for gaming or not. For my purpose of running work applications it displays the video awesome.
