I don’t think it’s the adapter issue it is the Chromebook connector . I end up returning it. Wrong type of connector for my need. I end up returning it.

I also needed 4K UHD support which this item has. Plug it in and it just worked. Full 4K and audio over a 50' cable. Love it.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It does what it is supposed to do but installing the drivers, which are conveniently ready to be installed from the adapter, slow down my computer a little and make the laptop fan work harder, and the image in the monitor attached to this port are not so smooth and you get a certain delay when moving windows around. It might be a good option if it is to be used for steady screen, such as text or pictures, but not good for video. I have put it away for now and will plan to replace it with the HDMI to USB C type shortly.

In order to successfully connect 2 monitors to my desktop, I need an "active" DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. I waited past the 15-day return period before I knew why this adapter was the wrong one.
