This adapter was an inexpensive lifesaver when I went to connect a new (to me) computer to an HDMI TV/Monitor and discovered that it had only VGA and DisplayPort outputs. Ordered it for pickup and it was ready within an hour (thanks, Best Buy!). It works as advertised, which is all you can ask for from a cable adapter.

This was a cheaper alternative to getting a native hdmi to display cable. Anyway if your only goal is to hook a hdmi port or display to another hdmi/display than this would exactly what you need of it

The connection of the port was powerful it allowed me to use my work laptop which has minimum ports to connect to a bigger monitor allowing me to split screen and do my reports without having to constantly minimize the screen.
