    bought it for a 1998 Sony Home Amp i found at Goodwill for $20, i wasn't sure what i needed to extract audio from the TV so i got this and an RCA adapter just incase, the RCA worked well, so i returned the AUX adapter, but this AUX does work as well if anyone reading this stumbles on the same situation in the future,
