Worst is that the Manager of the Best Buy store at Hawley Lane Mall, Roland did not return money, but gave us a store card. It was not the other store manager told us when we went there to pick up the parts. Most horrible customer service and experience. Best buy lost one customer.

I returned it with no hassle.

Tested it with three ports on two receivers and several pairs of headphones to make sure this adapter was the problem - it was. Can’t even return it because I threw the box away and emptied the trash after the first day thinking it worked fine. Sounded ok for the brief time it was working, but my advice is to pay more for a higher quality all metal/gold-plated adapter elsewhere and just have it shipped, this is worthless.

This new one looks strikingly similar to the one I replaced, and has the same issue. A little annoyed. Should have probably spent more money for a better quality. Needed for home production studio.
