Tested it with three ports on two receivers and several pairs of headphones to make sure this adapter was the problem - it was. Can’t even return it because I threw the box away and emptied the trash after the first day thinking it worked fine. Sounded ok for the brief time it was working, but my advice is to pay more for a higher quality all metal/gold-plated adapter elsewhere and just have it shipped, this is worthless.

This new one looks strikingly similar to the one I replaced, and has the same issue. A little annoyed. Should have probably spent more money for a better quality. Needed for home production studio.

Plugged it into my keyboard and frequently get a buzzing sound or audio cutout in one headphone. Tried three different pairs of headphones (two brand new, one known to work) and get same thing. Tried jiggling the adapter and headphones separately to test the connection and it seems to be the adapter
