It works great as an adapter and stays on, I haven't had any issues at all.

Great solution for my iPhone 15 Pro and CarPlay

I use CarPlay and bought the new phone with a USB-C plug and needed someway to continue using CarPlay. All I had to do was plug the adapter into my car and then plug my phone into the adapter. That was all there was to it.
