I didn’t wanna have to buy a new black piece and it was reasonable price. I hope they still have them in the stores if I need another one.

Using these allows us to use the new cables with our new USB-C devices, but not necessarily buy a bunch of replacement chargers. Using newer chargers will charge faster, but you don't always need to charge everything fast. One or two fast ones plus older ones should be more than enough. Great price too, but they're small, so don't lose them.
